Personal Information:

I have a long term interest in boating. I am currently a Past Squadron Commander and past Squadron Educational Officer of the Rochester Power Squadron, as well as a past Commodore of Pultneyville Yacht Club.

Experience:

  • Senior Navigator in United Stated Power Squadron which means that I have taken all courses that they offer and I have also taught all of the USPS courses including the Instructor Development Course.
  • Instructor with Sea Tech Marine Training since 2003 for OUPV, Master’s Upgrade to 100T, Towing and Sail courses.
  • Instructor for Explorer’s Guide Maritime Academy in 2020 for OUPV, Master’s Upgrade to 100T, Towing and Sail Courses.
  • Instructor for True North Maritime Academy in 2020 for OUPV, Master’s Upgrade to 100T and Towing Courses.
  • Captain for Cornhill Navigation on Sam Patch Packet Boat Tour Boat and Mary Jemison Tour Boat since Spring 2009.
  • Captain for Colonial Belle Tour Boat for 2018
  • Over 25 years experience on the Great Lakes as well as the NYS Erie, Rideau , Trent Severn and Welland canals.
  • Have been on many long term (2 – 3 weeks) cruises throughout the Great Lakes.
  • Owner/Operator of a 36’ Albin Trawler and a 33’ Cruisers Yachts Convertible Power Cruiser.
